Moroccan Dagger

Recent

Litigation Support by Kenneth Jay Linsner

This jambiya, or dagger, was presented to a business owner by the late King of Morocco. It was the subject of a lawsuit by the owner who claimed that after having been damaged in transit, the repair was inadequate making the item unsalable. Mr. Linsner was hired as an expert by the shipper and was able to demonstrate that not only was the dagger returned to a pre-loss state through repair, but that the value claimed by the owner was excessive and unreasonable. The case was dismissed.
