An English painting on heavy vellum of the Mistress of George IV, Mrs. Maria Fitzherbert (1756-1837). Brought from a home in England, the dry atmosphere of a New York City apartment had curled the picture. After humidification and treatment, we were able to flatten it and place it in a micro-climate to prevent movement in the future.
